It's going to be a busy day for me today, so I'll quickly say that I'm looking forward to the show and meeting friends old and new. Both Nick Dunhill and myself can be found on the Guild Technical Committee stand for most of the weekend, we look forward to welcoming you there.

Unless I have missed the information... where is the WT-meet this year? At the test track... probably. Just that there are two test tracks this year and having two WT-meets in parallel means missing half of the natter.

regards, Graham

The plans keep changing, such that it appears I am no longer on a separate table, but right next to the JLTRT stand - as was originally planned.

As I have Best Beloved with me, I hope to escape for the meet-ups at the appointed hour.

Nice having free wifi in the hotel.

Here's a few things from Telford. Good to put some names to faces around the hall:)

Martin's 37 415 was a winner, congrats:thumbs:

Blowers Green Wagon repair yard is vey nicely modelled with a very convincing mix of yard stock.

The Woodhead layout looks rather tasty too.

JLTRT have got into fishy wagons. They're starting off with Cat and Dog fish. Initial batch will be 20 only in rtr built to your spec (7mm, S7, livery, number etc). Forgot cost though. Perhaps Heather can remember?

Modelling on a £1200 table.
Glad to see you were taken by a bit of good old lima bashing :)

Was just think they looked liked lima conversions. . Very good though. .
We'll be there for opening tomorrow (we being myself and little lad Toby) looking forward to it now I've seen a few taster pictures. .

A very busy day, I wish I was there tomorrow, I barely seen a layout as there was always some one new to talk too.
I did get a picture if this gem though.

My good friend Michelle designed the cat fish and dog fish and will be making them RTR the first batch by Reading. Next up will be a GWR gas oil tanker then a converted road rail milk tanker that was used for diesel fuel at depots and DMU stabling points right up to the late 80's.

I heard a figure of £80 at one point, but I can't confirm that yet.

Heading off for breakfast, then to bag a decent parking spot at the venue. Looking forward to another busy day not modelling very much,

Get there early today people, I arrived a couple hours in yesterday & had to park at multistorey car park (£6 for 4 1/4 hrs !). There was lots of spaces left, but they were for the blue badge brigade !.

I just got a few rattle cans & some jars of paint.

I was with Iploffy when he got a Heljan 33 for £250 !!. Repairs will be a tenner at most !.

Steve
