East Anglia Railway Museum - LNER N7

East Anglia Railway Museum - LNER N7

I will be in the area of the above tomorrow and want to get some photos of the above, I spoke to the museum a few weeks ago and they said the N7 was on static display.

Would anyone know if the N7 is inside or outside, and whether it is in a position where I could get some photos?

Not bothered about full loco shots, more interested in detail shots.

I visited just over two weeks ago and it was outside in the yard where I managed to get plenty of photos!

Nobody seemed to bat an eyelid when I got closer and climbed up into the cab.....!

Hope she's not going to be neglected and left to rust away !.....it's the only one we've got.
If it's not going to be run again she should be inside or at the NRM

Got down to EARM to photograph the N7, on Friday. Nothing on the loco to suggest what the future holds for it

I went to Chappel Beer Festival at the EARM yesterday and am pleased to report people leaving the festival are being encouraged to donate any unused beer tokens to the N7 restoration fund. I'll try to attach a photo of the notice. A volunteer told me they need £300k to overhaul it and already have £200k but can't start until they finish the Loco they are restoring at present.
