This view shows all colours required by PPD's guidelines.

Black - No etch
White - Thru etch
Red - Front etch
Blue - Rear etch

It's not complete yet of course...

I send black and white drawings to PPD for the etch but my working drawings, like JB, are red (top side ) and blue (bottom side) since I find I can work out etch details and tabbing better in red and blue. It's not too difficult since the black and white fills can be produced as fills at the end of the drawing operation.

PPD only need a front and a rear etch. Something to talk about the next time we meet.

Richard
I understand what you mean now, I was a little confused.

I was talking to JB2 about it the other day. PPD can accept the four colours, but it's just a bit cheaper if you can send the two sides with all information. Maybe I'll look at the when I have completed the fills. Pretty keen to just get it sent off now though as I've had a request for two sets of etches already. I do need to draw up a few bits for the B2 now as well.

I draw using 4 colours then split the layers up to create the front and rear films in black and white only. Having all the layers visible and defined by colour keeps the whole clear in my mind.

Just my way of working.

Sheet 2 is pretty much done, but sheet 1 is going to take a little while longer sadly.

I may well drop these files into TC to do the fills for the tabs, due to the different ways that the programs work.

If I get bored I might have a count up of parts to see how many compared to Mick's 650 on the W1...

Slightly less now, some parts have been revised to simplify production and build ability

Keep at it though and I can assure you that no matter how careful you are now, or think you have covered something, they will be parts you want to alter when you build it :D

Anybody have any ideas how far south (east) these would have come and what they would have been used for? Will have a look in some of my coach books in a bit just in case I have some info on record...

TIA.

Please please, if anyone bumps in to my modelling mojo, would they send it back to E11.

Think it flew out the window somewhere between the NEC and Love Lane HQ.

In all honesty, I went full time photographer (for the second time) around August last year, and now with a family to support I need to take work a little more seriously. Also need to concentrate on passing out as a driver this year. If it doesn't happen in 2019 I don't think it'll ever happen.

I'll be back soon I'm sure..
