The Warminster Civic Centre is a bright, attractive venue situated in the centre of the town. There is ample parking adjacent to the venue and public transport, both bus and rail, are a few minutes level walk away.
The emphasis of the show is very much on modelling and the creative side of the hobby and layouts, traders and demonstrators have been selected with that in mind.

This looks great. When I lived in Herts, Railex Aylesbury was my favourite show, this looks similar. I will be going.

I can see several reasons why this is about to be the first entry into my shiny new Year Planner / Diary thingy! :)

Just a reminder that the MMRG Show is on Saturday 17th June at Warminster Civic Centre, with a very slightly different offering (below) from what Jerry posted on 2nd January.

The show's open from 10.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.

The Warminster Civic Centre is 800 yards from Warminster Station. From the station, head southward down Station Road for 350 yards. (You'll have to cross the footbridge if you're coming from Bristol/Bath/the North.) At the mini-roundabout turn right down Market Place (Warminster's main drag). After 200 yards you'll reach a T junction with traffic lights, at which you continue straight on. After another 150 yards you'll see a "Sports Direct" shop on your left. Turn left down the pedestrian alleyway immediately after it. The alleyway brings you out into the car park in front of the Warminster Civic Centre, which is the modern part-rendered/part-brick building on your right.

For drivers there's a lot of parking (160 spaces including 8 "blue badge" spaces) in the municipal "Western" car park in front of the Civic Centre. One hour costs £0.30p , four hours cost £2.00 and all day (more than five hours) costs £4.50. The two machines take coins (not notes or credit cards) and don't give change. Putting BA12 8LB into your SatNav will get you to Sambourne Road, Warminster; but probably not into the car park. When in Sambourne Road, look for a blue "P" parking sign that also reads "Civic Centre - Long Stay Car Park" and turn off Sambourne Road as directed by the sign; into Flers Court which leads to the car park.

We very much look forward to seeing you there.

Hi,
Heading down to Warminster on Friday from Derbyshire, to take in the show on Saturday.
Staying at Warminster Travelodge, so wondered if anyone local can recommend some good Real Ale pubs - somewhere like the Hop Pole in Aylesbury. Also anywhere that does some good home cooked grub!

Looking forward to the show!

I would recommend the Fox and Hounds or the Organ, which is just around the corner from the venue.
As for home cooked grub, it depends what you like. Being a garrison town Warminster has loads of eateries from Weatherspoons to the usual Indian, Chinese, ltalian etc
