Live steam locomotive boilers

I need some small boilers for a batch of Gauge 3 locomotives, but it is a small engine and no larger than a medium sized Gauge 1 loco - hence the post on here!

Can anyone please recommend a boiler maker? Of have any experiences of having a boiler made? They will be gas fired.

Thanks,

Mike

Thanks Jamie.

The first I've already contacted, so I've just sent a request to the second too. Thanks.

Cheddar Valley Steam also have a good reputation Mike - I have a couple of their coal fired boilers in engines supplied by other manufacturers so it would seem that they are happy to act as a subcontractor effectively.

Thanks chaps. That's three suggestions and I'll see what each of them come back with. I had heard that some boiler makers were working on a two year lead time, so we'll wait to see.

Thanks again and other suggestions welcome ...

I know Mike has sourced his boilers now, but in case anyone is currently looking for a boiler maker I would like to second the recommendation for Castle Steam.
They have recently provided a boiler for a G1 MSWJR 4-4-0 and I'm delighted with it. The boiler 'design process' (although in this case, to be honest, a simple modification to the published Dee design), the communication throughout, and the delivery on time and budget, were all first class.
I currently have a couple more boilers on order with them, for G3 locos.
