Hi John,

thank you for your kind comment. I forgot to mention in my list of outstanding things to do, the ‘wing mirrors’ at each corner, they are ready for priming, just need final paint and ‘glazing’ then they too can be fitted.

Finished at last!









oily staining added to springs and things underneath (still wet in the photos) and roof dirt 'blown over' on the top.

Started a 'to do' list for the BR Diag 1/551 ex LMS Kitchen Car conversion, which will be continued in Area 51 shortly.

That's a fine model. The kind of thing Hornby would produce I suspect if they ever get around to upgrading their diner. I say this with good reason.
