1990s workbench

Found this recently, a LB&SCR Saxby & Farmer box that I made in the 90s. Was the beginnings of a 1950s layout and this is as far as I got.

It had a grain of wheat bulb in the ceiling, the wire went down the chimney. Tiles are card (which is the only thing that has warped) and the bricks were scribed.

It also made it on the front cover of the 2mm mag at some point in the 90s too.

I still have the missing platform support, but finding it hasn't rekindled any enthusiasm for the long abandoned layout, which is probably a good thing considering I just want to finish Dublingham Goods.

Thank you Tim, those boxes were very cute, I think I must have got the drawing from the PECO Vivian Thompson book.

Yes, seems a shame to leave it marooned.
