I fully understand where you're coming from Mike, and am not here to stir any bad matter from the past, I'm just here to enjoy the pleasures of our hobby, as I try to find that comfy home for modellersPint of Adnams said:I much prefer the more relaxed and friendly setup here. Oh, and there's only antagonism from FRMW towards RMWeb, Andy Y is pretty cool about it otherwise, but I was referring to the faction fighting and swift departure of the main man who set up FRMW, and other goings and comings that have made it impossible for me to associate myself with it.
Last Monday evening I was sat in a backstreet drinking house in York with a rather highly
respected modeller, and the subject of various online forums cropped up briefly in a discussion around the table. This particular modeller summed it up very easily with "it's all about egos", and he is quite right.

Sorry, maybe my words were a generalisation too far... I do take the point that it was really one-way traffic, and FRMW seems to openly be 'against' RMweb.Pint of Adnams said:
