Access To Images From Thumbnails - And Saving The View

A post includes thumbnails.... right click on a thumbnail and selecting "save image" does just that, saves the thumbnail.

OK, left click on thumbnail... lightbox stumbles into life, there is time to make tea between display of successive images from bottom display bar.... no option to save the image on local pc.


How do I download and save the hi-res image for viewing off-line ('cos I want to look at the detail using Windows Picture Viewer from good old XP).

In chrome or firefox, Right click, open link in new tab, they you can 'save as'. Lightbox will be slow because it is opening high res images
