Really interesting and a canny find – I have similar (but not quite so grand!) ideas for my kits. What is moneyvista.co.uk?

Oh no - this is really bad news. I mean REALLY BAD.

Keep thinking 1/43 - 1/43 - 43 - 43………..for 3 - for 3 inch - for 3 inch gauge :headbang:

I'd agree with Steph, having seen some of the stuff at York, it wasn't pretty. As I understand it the early kits up to and including the Peckett 0-4-0 (Henry Cort) kit AM41 have been designed by Pete Stamper and have a throughly deserved good reputation. For all the later models all I can say is that Mike brought all the quality and standards from College Models over to Agenoria.

There always seems to be something incongruous with the later kits. For example the Kitson look at the alignment of the cylinders, slide bars and motion bracket. There should be a pronounced downward angle to them but they are virtually horizontal.

What about the shape of the cab cutout on Avonside 0-4-0T.

The website seems to have an polished update but £320 for an industrial 0-4-0T kit! OK that includes wheels and motor but even so it seems a bit exorbitant for what you get. Seems to be a case of if it's etched in nickel silver and the castings are in brass then a premium rate can be charged.
