Hi Andy I forgot to say hello, I was looking for Metalsmiths as well but I don't think they came. I liked the show but it appeared to me that there were less people about, I had a good chat to one of the demonstraters in the small hall about his Stanier tank (Nickle silver) part scratch, part Ace, beautiful model.

Well, it was good to meet up with some of you chaps again, or indeed for the first time. I spent most of the day within the confines of Surrey Oval but certainly felt that it was somewhat quieter this year, I do wonder if the parking is something of a hinderance?

Otherwise it was a good day, I nearly lost my voice pontificating about drives for 7mm scale diesel locos and DMUs; MTH looked quite startled at one point. Sorry Matt
