Talking to some WTers earlier this week there were nice comments about Alkham... so here is another treat. Again the photo is courtesy of British Railway Modelling and supplied by Ian Hollis.

The little details just jump out when you zoom over the picture... how often do you see permanent way with front and back stretcher bars?

In spite of what I have written on my workbench thread the contemporary scene is one about which I am not that familiar. However, I do like the Nag and the hopper in the previous photo - maybe because such wagons and engines are some of the few remaining links to the traditional steam railway (to which we can add Class 20 and Class 37).

Will the company who was doing the station - nameboard type stickers (just by the entrance in 2012) be there again in 2013?
I do not recall seeing a booking for the railway sign trader before we ran out of space... seems to me the Club has more traders wishing to come than we can accomodate in terms of "frontage". There is a list of traders who are attending on the corresponding RMW thread.

The Dan Patch Line is attending our 2013 show, so here are some photos courtesy of Dave Barclay.

I reckon that these two photos ought to mean that there will be at least one visitor from the Midlands.

Hi Jordan, if the engines in the photos of post no. #40 are yours... then do not be surprised if there is a clamouring for the WT equivalent of diplomatic immunity from the noisy quarter.

And to think that I chose the two images in post no. #34, from a larger number of photos, because I thought someone might just appreciate the colour scheme :'( .

I was SOO wrong! :(

There is this show thread here... and there is that show thread there... and I try to keep the threads in sync., (a posh word which means... a lot of effort). Whilst I can start out with the best of intentions things do go awry... and that has happened recently when an exhibitors decided to post photos over there before I got round to asking for material. So here is a second dose today, just to keep things square (as in closing the circle).

What with all this Blue stuff we ought to be organising a WT meet at the show.
