Thanks for the replies guys :) That is a very warm welcome...

Hi Julia
After I last talked to you about where you got the dense foam from. Could you please tell me what builders merchant you got it from again.

Ahhh yes. That was a place called Minster (http://www.minsteronline.co.uk/). They have branches all over the place and were very helpful. Last time a got a sheet it cost £5.00 for a 8ft x 2ft x 25mm thick sheet.

Julia :)

Welcome Julia, to the alternative 2-mil and S scale modelling blog-o-sphere! I've been on here for a while now, as an refuge from You-Know-Where. Good to see you joining us :)

Just been down to the new lounge, nicely decorated in SDJR Blue... Not a comfy chair in sight, not that the absence of seating matters since all of the 2mm fraternity are out at play.

Oh the seating's there alright... it's just too small to see....:D :p

Of course, silly me. What else would you use in a 2mm Lounge other than 2mm (rail) chairs, those things are pretty small in 7mm so must be minute in the smaller scale!

Hi Julia,

Welcome to the local Blue and Green club...

John, that is too far left field... what sort of story are you going to have to put together to explain the presence of a Q1 on Hartley Hill?

A 2mm Q1 (?) on Hartley Hill... is the circus visiting with a miniture railway???

Best wishes Simon

Personally, I prefer mine BLACK. Pre-modernisation plan diesels are SO much more interesting! ;)

Phil,

I prefer mine to Steam, in Blue, Green or Silver although Black could work...
