1/32 Brake Van

I am looking to get a brake van for my small number of wagons. I am struggling to find anything.

Ideally it would suit my WR/SR line and be 1/32. I have seen Mercian do a WR Toad but have not had a reply to any emails sent to them and they do not list a phone number. The NFS BR Brake Van is out of stock and not known when they will reappear.

I am happy to give kit building a go but scratch building is still something for the future.

Any links or pointers for where to look would be a great help.

Thanks for your help.

The reason Mr Mercian didn't reply to my emails was because their website was hacked and it had to be shut down.

Pleased to say that all has been fixed and what a very pleasant fellow he is.

Thanks for the feedback - I think it is good that issues with traders are cleared up with a clear explanation. Please keep us updated with the build, a little larger than my usual scales but I'd be interested to see how the kits go together.

Hi all

I’m in th process of building one of Trevor’s AA19 Toads, if anyone would be interested in a photo I’ll post one.

I also have lots of other useful information on Toads.

I'm sure I will be asking for pictorial assistance so thanks for the offer.

Hi Kieth

I’d forgotten I’d already posted my build on the toad, see page 2 in this 1/32 section at the bottom for the listing.

Hi Dave

I have had a look and found the thread. Is it any further forward now or still awaiting a dollop of spare time?
