Hiya I'll be starting my layout thread soon to be called Brick Bridge I love names that are just off the wall .The reason it's called Brick Bridge is because supprisingly it has a brick bridge (viaduct actually ) and I've had a brief message info with Phil (brush type four ) about the viaduct the layout is a circle so that quite frankly I can if I wish just watch the trains go by there has been quite a lot going on behind the scenes and various people may wish to or not show what they are doing .Alan smith has done tha drawings for the base boards so hopefully that will be made soon
Further updates soon ;)

Alan Smith who's in the 2mm association has done a cad for the baseboards for Brick Bridge so hopefully something will start there soon I have asked Simon whether it would be possible to show it at Larkrail it will be the very early stages but I'd hope to have something running who knows maybe even the Beames and it would also be nice if the viaduct has been laser cut ( have I just dug a hole for myself )
Comments welcome

Look forward to seeing this progress John. What sort of diameter will the "circle" be (the mock up looks to be a quite generous radius)?

Hi Ian its 7ft diameter my garage is 8ft so it will fit rather well there will be 5 baseboards one with an8inch drop for the viaduct hope that helps

Thanks John. I do like the idea of watching trains go by - I had initially considered doing something similar myself (but a Brunellian timber viaduct) but not having space for a roundy-roundy decided that I could manage a small through station and so Modbury was born.

I've added a couple of trees to the scene this board is really a test piece and may or may not be part of the final project the next board is for the viaduct which is where the name came from as the viaduct will be a brick structure .Im not sure whether it will be brick papers or laser cut as I'm not sure if that is possible in this scale .

Just Windows and a few bits to do and it's done. The frames and panels were painted separately .The panels were then glued in
