I will be there and looking forward to another good show. The weather is going to be wet and windy with no sign of any snow which was so desrupted a few years ago

Many start the morning off with a bacon roll and a mug of tea:D

Almost ready to set out now. Traffic England is still green for the M62/M6/M5 so should be there just after 10

Brilliant show, lots of talking, didn't see much of anything else but the whole place had a great atmosphere and was good and busy.

Thank you to Roger, Bob and all the other organizers and helpers - another rip roaring success!

Home now after a lovely day at Bristol. It's a great show - well set out, room to sit, friendly, comfortable, perhaps a little warm!

I spent about 1 1/2 hours seeing the show and about 4 1/2 hours chatting....Brilliant.

My purchase was a conflat B and 2 containers with MacFisheries transfers from M&M. It might even be the next thing on the workbench when it arrives.

Just got in - though we did stop in the way home for some food. Thanks to Mr Beare for the western half of the driving relay.

A thoroughly pleasant day out. Although many of the traders were those we know and love from many other shows, it was well worth the trek to get there from our corner of Kent. I wish I'd had a chance to sit and chat with a few more than I managed.

Now to sort out the various boxes and bags.

Arrived early, great show, mostly trade and only 90 minutes away, less when I have finished my house. Might stop going to Reading then.

Met members from my local S7 group, missed others from further away as I had to leave early.

Picked up some re-profiled S7 wheels for my LMS trolley wagon, bought a couple of other wagons, looked at a lot of tool solutions I didn't know I needed but then bought a lovely bedtime reading book.

Best hint of the day was from Malcolm Mitchell. Use Lidl W5 not Viakal for cleaning!

Does anyone else find that it is only when you get home from a show that you think of all of the questions you wish you had asked traders while you were there? Crikey, that was a long sentence!

I had a wonderful day out and thanks to the organisers. I actually bought very little - some washers, brass tube and a book (from Titfield Thunderbolt, so thanks). And Simon advised me that one of my photos will be in the soon-to-be-released S & D book. Sadly I didn't see everyone but had some interesting conversations. (The "K" tender is now complete. Hope to put some pictures up tomorrow).

Best of all I won the raffle so now have a £100 credit note to spend at Tower Models!!!:) This is probably the first time I've ever left an O Gauge exhibition in credit.

It was good to see everyone today and I thoroughly enjoyed the show. Purchases were few in number, some screw couplings and vacuum & steam heat pipes from CPL, but I also got this from Simon at Titfield Books....

Just need to scrape together enough pennies to flash out on the MOK kit now....

Got myself 3D scanned by Alan Buttler of Modelu as well, both in civvies and in my DB Schenker driver's garb, for those modelling the current railway scene.

Alan is planning to do scans/prints of diesel drivers (transition era onwards), in the near future and when he does, I can see the current crew of Western Rifleman (anyone remember that?), being relieved of duty for evermore. :)):)):))

We are just back in Yorkshire and agree it was a good show, though like others not much spent. It was good to catch up with railway friends from Bristol even if I failed to arrange to meet WT members. I did drop by to say hello and admire the great work of Brian Daniels in the solid. I think I even spotted Heather, but not got around to introduce myself

What I did get from the show was a good appreciation of what is available, so now have a lot clearer view of what I do want to spend my money on and not

Hello all.

I can only echo the comments of many learned members on here and send my congratulations to the organizing team from the Bristol O Gauge Group, a fine body of men:cool:

The Bristol o gauge group would like to thank all who made the effort from close and far (Norway) for making the effort. All though yes we had a lot of regular trade we had lost some but had 10 new traders first time at Bristol they done well on the language course most traders were happy with your work you will never please them all we found a cover off of a electronic stat which may have been the problem for the heat but looking at our comments a lot of good thermals have been exchanged this week end we are hoping to get the other car park back from the builders for next year we only found out we had lost a half of 1 of them 3 weeks before the show Bob Savage BOGG

We had a great show it was good to see and talk to so many of you. See you at Kettering. Pete

Good to see you too Pete - I don't think I can make Kettering, but my Telford accommodation is already booked. The D600 looked excellent, but I must resist and hold out for a Class 47 instead.
