My Welsh style signal box is going through the Intentio paint shop.

Here, I've built the box and it is in parts ready for painting and Peter has primed all over in Halfords Primer.

Peter our lead artist is seen here using his coursing tool to widen the gaps between some of the block work to bring a bit more relief to the otherwise flat laser cut stone work.

Hmm, I can see them but I've uploaded the images now where before I had just copied them in to the post.
When you copied them in to the post originally they were still linked to the photos on the Gauge O Guild forum. For those of us with an active GOG login then the images were visible - for everyone else it was just a little blue box with a question mark. Now they have been uploaded then they are visible to all. :thumbs:

Looking very nice again. Is it based on anywhere in particular or just standard GWR practice ?
Well, it is based drawings of Wargrave but I was just putting together a set of standard parts such as attached so that I could produce any of the GWR standard stations.

The dimensions on the drawings are what I'm coining as metric feet! 5.25 metric feet is 5'3" and 1.5 metric feet is 1'6" in old money.

On the signal box, my client wanted an interior that could be detailed so I’ve included all the internal walls and rooms including the stair well;

And the toilet, only one and locker rooms.

Not sure how will be viewable but sometimes it is just the knowing.

I’m putting the kit together and much of it will disassemble to allow for painting. @Peter Insole has quoted for the finishing off and painting and I wait to hear if that’s the direction my client wants to go. I know Pete is itching to have a go, no doubt because of the southern connection! I know he will do a fabulous job too.

Green and Stone paint on stand by Phil...!

At least all those internals will help to keep that wonderful great long structure straight and true as well as blocking some light and casting a variety of shadows in the windows.

It would be rather fun to put a warm white LED in the loo - so it would look like someone had been in and left the light on...?!

Pete.
