IMG_1201.JPG Now the nights are drawing in, as we say down here in this part of the country, I can finally make a start on the part of the hobby I really enjoy. But please do not hold your breath for an update soon, as I'm now self employed and busier than I have ever been.

Cheers,

Martyn.

Cheers Tony,

I must get on with some more scenery, especially as there are no excuses at the moment. People must be getting fed up looking at the same panorama every time I post a photo or two.

Excellent stuff Martyn! Look forward to seeing a full layout article in a future MRJ....

Dan

Evening Dan,

Well I would be most honoured if that were ever to happen, but there is still so much to do. People must be getting fed up with seeing the same view all the time, it's the only bit of the layout that is partially finished, there's still a load more greenery and trees to add yet. And as for the rest of the layout, it still needs ballasting, pointmotors, etc. Still I'm enjoying the journey.

Cheers,

Martyn

Martyn,

The layout looks excellent, well done with the video, and agree about a full layout article. If I may ask, would it be possible for you to post a few photo's of your fiddle yard.

Many Thanks,

Gary

Hi Gary,

Yes of course I will take a couple tomorrow in daylight as some of the yard is built under some old kitchen cupboards.

Yes, Martyn,

don’t be shy about work in progress, few of us have complete layouts to show!

we can enjoy yours too!

cheers
Simon

Evening Simon,

I will take a couple of shots tomorrow , and as you'll see I've got my work cut out :D.

What pedigree are the bolsters Martyn?

The bolsters are all from Connoisseur models, I prefer to build brass/ nickel silver kits rather than plastic, but sometimes needs must..;)

Did one of them, nice kit.

on a whim, I bought a Skytrex one, quite pleased with it. Not as nice, but much quicker!
