    Hi all,

Does anyone know where I might find (other than at the NRM) some coach roof profiles drawings.. Ideally for Thompson and Gresley stock initially..

    I've had an idea...

I do have some LMS profiles from original works drawings. I'll bring the book on Wednesday.

The Gresley roof profile is given in the first edition of Gresley's coaches by Michael Harris:

"The Doncaster roof was a true semi-ellipse with the axis - at the level of the bottom of the cantrail - 2 ft. 5.5 in. below the highest point of the roof curve. In the York product this last dimension was 3 ft. 5.5 in."

Thanks Bill, are there drawings of the side profile of the bow ended roofs too?
