Coachmann WB.....Hornby Hawksworth coaches

All my coaches are built from etched brass or else have etched sides, and so they have a homogenous appearance. In addition, Hornby's interpretation of carmine & cream did not match the rest of my stock. So I set to and got stuck in.

Pictures appearing in the wrong places really puzzled me, and it took quite some time to sort this out. Also the last five or six lines of text insisted on dropping out of sight below the 'box'. I got there in the end. :)

Here's a Hornby Hawksworth corridor third with etched brass sides. The keen eye might detect a vertical beading strip below the windows. This was put on with with a draughtsmans bow pen using cellulose paint and gradually built up in five layers before the primer was applied to the whole coach.
