Cravens Crane and Tool vans

As promised on the Ransomes Crane thread here are some photos of the mess and Tool and Tool van etches that I received from Medley Models yesterday.

If it manages to get light next weekend I will dig out the crane itself and take some photos of that. It also comes with a crane runner wagon. While I appreciate that it is nowhere near the quality of the Sanspariel crane at ?165 for the lot it leaves some room for upgrading bits and pieces.

That looks pretty reasonable for the price, as long as it is dimensionally accurate then there is scope to tart it up.

The crane itself was taken dimensionally from the drawing in A Pictorial Record of LNER Wagons by Peter Tatlow I believe. There are some credits on the instructions for the tool vans but they are not familiar.

The model that is made up on Medley's stand certainly looks the part whether it's accurate or not. I also picked up some waxed 0.5mm cotton thread for the cables from eBay at 99p for 25metres including free postage from India.
