Steve,
LNER works plates will look something like these.....

LNER Works Plate 2.jpg LNER Works Plate.jpg
.....especially if it was rebuilt at Stratford 30A

She was built 28/02/1902 at Stratford Works by the GER, see here ... Rail UK British Railway Steam Locomotive there is no detail of re-building by the LNER... suggest Yeadon's Register for more info.
I don't have this edition to hand ( in storage still  ) so maybe some one else on WT can look it up for you.

Hello Colin
Ithink I got it sorted.
Here is the plate of the J15
It shows the 1946 LNER number.
Obviously works plates were changed

So mine needs to be similar except it would have 5539. stratford Works 1902

Regards Steve

'aint got a bloody vinda mate !....he seems to have gone awol. I've had several people contact me in the past asking about contact including one guy who had several models he wanted back.
I just hope nothing too tragic has happened, Ade is a great modeller.
Something up and above the world of model railways must need his attention I guess.

Gentlemen,

I have had lunch with Adrian several times in 2017 and three times in 2018, correspondence between us is slow and not predictable.

I am aware that he has not been in the best of health for the past couple of years and I shall say no more on that pending our next lunch (which is probably in January). That Adrian has not written publically - be that here, there or on Basilica Fields - is his decision and that decision has to be respected.

Adrian is modelling... I delivered the baseboards and trackwork for Weeping Angels Yard in the Spring of last year.

Whilst I am happy to pass on messages of good wishes I shall not provide his contact details and I shall not forward messages relating to modelling commissions.

regards, Graham
