Thanks for the reminder - the second photo of Canada Street is simply sublime.

He mentions the Derby roundhouse being the most atmospheric location - if they could just combine the exhibition with the real ale festival then it would probably be the best exhibition in the world.© :thumbs:

As an ex-Derbian (and ex-Mickleover club member!), thank you!!!
I'm sure you know that just across from the railway station (itself, just across from the Roundhouse) is the pub called "The Brunswick", which certainly used to be one of the premier alehouses in the region, along with a few others close by. So, you can certainly partake although I agree, a combined model railway and beer exhibition would surely gain the status of Oktoberfest!?
