Hello Everyone,

I hope you're all well and finding plenty of time to get some modelling done during these strange times.

Put the kettle on, make yourself a cuppa and settle down somewhere comfortable, as we've put together a bumper edition for May, including a very well put together video by that guy from the other website forum.

I hope you enjoy the content (and the diversion, as there's nothing on telly worth watching) and stay safe.

Best wishes,

Kier

Kier, with regard the guy that had the plasticard expand, a few of us here have learned the hard way, and Steph Dale explained why.

He ought to use liquid poly rather than Mek. Mek will give off a gas/fumes which will cause the plasticard to do bad things when being used in a laminating situation and the fumes can't escape.

Just enjoyed the video, especially the brief clip of classic 1970's Grand Prix cars, Ferrari's etc., another sign of a "misspent youth"?!

Best regards

That guy is Mr Tiger-Viking (Steve) of this parish, or used to be. I think he was lucky for it to have stuck at all, as the sleepers are a polythene based plastic and are not affected by our usual modelling solvents. I shall pass that useful information on to him.

Cracking video. Takes me back when I was out with my packed lunch and off to the railway.
