Photo Everything Cranes

A little further research confirms the crane in my pics above as LMS MP4 (BR RS1005/50, ADRC95203) a Cowans Sheldon 36t (50t) crane of 1930. Unfortunately I've failed miserably to find any further photos but she's effectively the same as the cranes preserved at the Midland Railway Centre and at Didcot.

What I can say from the outset is that it's a Cowans Sheldon crane and probably quite an early one as it hasn't got Stokes bogies. The jib runner is interesting being 6-wheeled so I imagine an ID wouldn't be too tricky.

The support coach looks to be an ex-LMS 57' BG to me, but I may not have that completely correct.

I'll have a 'dig' and see if I can get more detail on the crane for you...

Sorry to resurrect this but I think the coach I’m after is a LMS 50ft Full Brake as I’ve found this.

I’m guessing it’s the same coach but in a later livery. Thoughts?
