Jeff I hope you are getting one in each livery.

I wonder what unique livery Tower Models will offer?

Personally I am hoping the Derby type 2's come to fruition

Wish list, wish list. Come on the mods it's an unadulterated wish list. There you see I do wish you would stop wishlisting

I'm waiting for kits for those from MMP.

SteadyRed -

You are??? I know I am getting old and my memory faulty but I don't recall saying that we'd defnitely do them. I think I remember saying I'd like to. I'm still trying to get around to getting the other diesels back in production but am just too busy with our other ranges right now.

I like them and would love to give 'em my treatment but I thought I'd better warn you it is unlikely - especially with the marketplace about to become so crowded with them now. Different with the classes we did or have made masters for, as mostly the money has been spent years ago - but on the the Type 2s we have done no work at all and it would not, I think, be commercially viable to start.

I wouldn't wait if I were you!

Hi David

I have hoped that you would produce kits for the BRCW classes 26 & 27 as listed on your website, from your post that sounds like it may never happen so I will have to go either the Heljan or JLTRT route if I want models of those locomotives.

I will still resist going down the Heljan class 31 or class 40 route as hopefully you will release kits for these locos in the fullness of time.

My mistake was not buying your mainline loco kits when I first became interested in 7mm, a few years ago. A mistake I didn't make with your class 08 / 09 kits

Dave -

We are talking at cross purposes - I thought you were referring to the Derby Type 2s - sorry, I misread your post.

Work is well advanced on all the BRCW 36/27/33 family [we first 'cut metal' on these a while back]. Those and all the other stuff we did earlier will re-appear when I'm ready + some classes I've patterns for that I have not announced at all - and won't in advance of their release.

DJP

David, no problem.

Delighted that the BRCW types 2/3 are going ahead, my heart sank briefly.

Sorry that my wording caused a misunderstanding in the first place.

That is great news - I've been waiting patiently for what seems a long while for these to be ready :)

Started work on them in 1989 - so progress is steady. Its just pressure of other work on the military front and when I choose to get around to them. Too old to set myself deadlines anymore so they kind of get out when they get out and when I feel they they are really ready.

We have 88 new releases this Autumn but only one is railway - a Type 'H' Container Set.

Received my 40 today! :D Awesome looking model.

It will be the only Green loco on my layout. Full yellow ends to add, as it becomes D200/40122 in it's retro livery days.

Now that is an inspired choice. It's the only green un I'd have as well as I was a steward on the tour that took D200 to Penzance in the late 80s :p
