    Hello
Just thought I’d pop this here for all those not following the ongoing resurrection of the Chivers production on the Five79 Facebook page.

Watkins Wharf has already taken delivery of one of these: RC465 and the mouldings look crisp and neat. More when we get a moment or two to assemble it. The Research Dept are on the case already...

    Cheers

    Hello Jan,

Yes, that's good news! I haven't built any of the long wheelbase LMS types, but the VB 21 tonner* and the various SR ballast wagons are very good indeed, not that I can find pictures of mine at present. The brake levers tend to the 'robust', but that's resolvable.

    * I have done three or four of these - note that Justin Newitt does his usual singing and dancing etched affair (or at least he does when the range is available again).

Thanks for that - bookmarked. I got a couple of the 2mm kits a few years ago and they were nice little kits to build. Just down the road for me as well.

    Cock on...
The 21t Mineral is a must; Justin appears to be aiming at September for reopening for orders so..... Underframe mass order too!
Newitt & Chivers - a higher class of model noodling..... :)
