GA Drawing 61xx for Scale 7 Finney Kit

I am building a 5101 engine to scale 7 standards, using the Martin Finney kit as a starting point. Although "scale seven" spacers are provided they are approx 2mm too narrow and so I shall make my own.

As with the 28xx from the same stable, new spacers and subtantial running plate mods, new splasher tops etc. are required, so a GA drawing is essential.

Unfortunately, I do not have issue 5 of GWR Journal where such a drawing is published, and cannot obtain it from Wild Swan, the publisher. Are any of the members here able to help please?

Thankyou

Robin

Welcome aboard Robin. A S7 Finney 61xx is on my list of things to do, so I'll be following this with much interest. :) We like to see pictures on here too, so don't be shy once the build gets underway. Some pictures of the 28xx would be nice too, come to think of it.

Thanks for the welcome. Point taken about pictures. The photos that I have are not of particularly good quality; probably a combination of cheap digital camera and untalened photographer. However, I will see what I can do...
