Relax, Neil: none are currently in production.

Harvey Watkins did a batch in the 90s, but the one in the photo is a one-off, using an Accucraft boiler/burner on a Roundhouse chassis. It was intended to be a prototype for a batch for commercial release (I think, but am not 100% certain, by IP Models), but for some reason it never went that far.

I reckon his garden must be of a reasonable size, too - even little 7/8" scale locos are not small!

Nice (I know that Accucraft will or are doing one) but I've a connection to the Warrill in that my great grandad was gamekeeper on the Sand Hutton estate and my great auntie remembered the railway.

Ah. That's an interesting connection, and one to be proud of!

My only connection is that there was a photo of the brakevan in the Modeller once, related to a review of the book which is classed as a magazine "special issue", and it formed the basis of my first scratchbuilt wagon body, in 40 thou plasticard with paper (embossed from behind with a ball pen to produce "rivets") ironwork. It was nominally 7mm scale, on a Triang-Hornby wagon chassis, and trundled along behind what had once been an H0 Mehantehknika diesel switcher, which had been fitted with a new cab - more 40 thou plasticard, plus some wire and tissue paper to represent an open cab. That was my sole narrow gauge modelling experience for many years. Sadly, I didn't keep it, but memory suggests it was mostly OK.
