I recently became the librarian of my club: the Ilford and West Essex Model Railway Club. There is no money set aside to buy new stock, so my job was to root out older material which could be sold and get us a little cash. While doing that I found a couple of magazines from 1907 wrapped in brown paper:
A leading club member, who designed and built our current 7mm layout Taw Magna, died a few years ago was a GWR fan, so I guess these were part of his collection, and were donated to the club. The club committee asked to see if there was any suitable organisation willing to give them a good home, and hopefully pay a good price.
They seem important documents to me, but also possibly quite valuable. does anyone know anything about this magazine? More to the point, does anyone know how much they might be worth? Please PM me if you can help.
