    Hi all,

My name is Remco Vegting and I live in a small village in the north-east of The Netherlands.

Last year I started with Gauge 1 when I bought my first live steam locomotive: an Aster Schools Class.
By now I have three working trains, you can see them all in this video:

Next year I hope to start with my own garden layout, so looking around for best practices and ideas :)

    All the best,

    Remco

    Welcome Remco,

Great to see all this interest in British steam coming from our good friends in the Netherlands, I have met some nice Dutch folk over the years at the O gauge exhibition at Telford.

It would be nice to see the build of your proposed garden layout on this forum, so please keep us posted with lots of pictures.

    Kind regards,

    Martyn.

    Hi Remco,
Pleased you found your way here. Enjoy the site, there are many great threads to admire. I find extra inspiration looking at the 7mm stuff as well as many techniques will transfer across.

Lots of pictures of your progress will always be welcome.

    Kind regards,

    Keith

Welcome, Remco! With a gauge O layout in southern France I find WT to be a very friendly place with lots of positive help. I am sure you will find the same!
