Il be with Pete at the cleckheaton show so that might be a good time to express your interests.
I will be in touch with him before then though and see if we can have a direct place to express our interest. The railnuts page on Facebook would be a good place other than that through the jltrt web site. Besides the dedicated Facebook pages
Both MOK & JLTRT are aware of the threads running on the various forums.

I'm just wondering which kit manufacturer I can convince to do 18000 gas turbine !!!!

Exactly.
Frame in brass, cabs in resin, body could be either...
The tricky thing with modelling this particular beastie is keeping track of the large number of detail changes affecting the loco during is running career. I wouldn't expect to be doing the loco when working for the UIC!
18000 is one of three locos very high up my personal 'wants' list that I'm actively working on at the moment. It won't be a quick job (think a couple of years) but I've no concerns about the ability to produce a full kit for this loco. It wouldn't actually be the first Swiss loco I've tooled.

Put me down for one then, I don't care how long it takes.
Mine would be lined green. We would have to get some numbers etched in nickel silver for her as well

Ok guys
We have had some great feed back but not that many have actually got in touch with Dave at MOK direct. I'm passing all the information on but please if you are interested just take the time to send him an email direct,
DSharp@modernoutline.co.uk
And let him know which loco or both your interested in.
Cheers all
We can make this happen

News Flash
New Project 15xx - Expressions of interest

We are indebted to the efforts of one man who has identified a desire for the 15xx from a large number of people, some of whom have already emailed in and whom we would like to thank for their support.
For this project to go ahead, the reality of commercial pressure means that we need to have confirmed support before we can begin. When we have the numbers we require, we will seek deposits of £50. Those on the supporters list will receive their kits in strict order of response.
Will all supporters of this project please email us to confirm their interest to sales@modernoutline.co.uk

I had an email from Dave Sharp on Weds evening regarding ScaleSeven support:

"I think what we are going to do with the S7 side of it is to produce a
supplementary etch kit with the additional frame spacers etc on it and also
any castings required that are affected by the wider frame spacing. It would
be very much as we did with the BR 4MT tank.
As with the 4MT it means that unfortunately the S7 modeller will have to pay
extra for this kit as there will be only be very small numbers for us to
recover pattern and mould costs against.
I am afraid until I get something designed then I can't be too specific about
what will be needed in the supplementary kit."

I'm glad the scale 7 option is being looked at and taken in to consideration so early in the project.
Now I'm pretty certain kit No 1 will be mine but I can't decide if no 2 should be as well!!

Aha! - the standard 'two-kit' trick. . . ;)

On a more serious note, will you be putting the build up on here (wiv lotsa pix) to show those of us towards the back of the class how it should be done?
