totally agree with you Jordan and I even think that the day may be sooner than you think - ever the optimist, don't forget, I was a Building Estimator and I was always going to win every estimate:thumbs:

    cheers

Just finished converting a couple of Heljan B Tanks to a longer A Tank by inserting an extra 10mm at each end from a doner tank.

The first one looks like it might be, but it's pretty hard to tell. The second one definitely isn't, that's a much older wagon, and I'd also be extremely surprised if that was a 45 tonner, 25 would be closer to it.

The top one does look like a B4.

Probably an acid tank, smallish barrel diameter (not small note!) with a considerable steel saddle. Note how the ladder leans in.

I have been searching through the BR diagram books to try to locate the prototypes of the pending HJ Cargowaggons... I think that the flat is E502 and the van is E512. Anyone able to confirm or correct my thinking?

    thank you, Graham

E512 is correct for the van. Sorry, can't help with the flats, they're not my kind of thing.
