If I was the dealer and I'd seen the loco in its new form $$$$ would be rolling around in my eyeballs I'd be saying certainly MrDyson would you like us to come and collect it? Then I'd have my tools out fixing it and be in my shop or on ebay for ?600 (just a good job I dont own a model shop and Tower are'nt as dishonest as me ha ha!) Howes said they were posting gears today so keep fingers crossed :wave: Ross..

The evidence so far seems to point to isolated incidents of gears cracking , so I think we will just have to wait & see what happens . Howes seem to be living up to their reputation of offering good friendly & prompt service with regard to this problem ,

Hi Phill the screw link couplings were ?7 a pair, and the windscreen wipers were 75p each, i saw an image of your westdale bubble car in one of the threads it looks very nice . im still trying to sus out how to apply the lower waist stripe on my bachmann as the door handles and rails are soldered in place and the stripe has to pass through them

Cheers Chris ..........you might have de-solder the door handles & maybe feed the lining under the handrails :scratch: .............or paint it blue :laugh:
