Milton Keynes is indeed known for concrete cows and roundabouts, but its also home to the oldest railway town in the world - Wolverton. Pre-dates that other outfit west of London, I'm told. And it sits on that pioneering railway from London to Birmingham. In fact if I were brave enough I'd move my modelling back in time 60 years to the L&B - two or three Bury 2-2-0s heading long passenger trains, the occasional Crampton, all Gauge 3 live steam, radio control . . . oh, there's the alarm, it must be time to wake up!

I am indeed pleased to hear it Richard, and hope to find time for a chat at Shepshed on 6th October. We'll have a 12ft stand there, but Andy.B also wants a G3 stand - a sort of area group meeting point. Its always a good show but with extra Gauge 3 it could be even better!
