7mm Heyside: 7mm L&Y, late 50s/early 60s

We had an operating evening tonight and Heyside became Heyside Regis or Heyside on Sea due to an influx of Southern locomotives plus an electric multiple unit.

31408 is a left hand drive N class 2-6-0, there must be a special passenger in the Pullman Car although the engine is not cleaned to royal standards.

A busy scene with three Southern Railway built locomotives in the picture, the 8F is a model of 48706 the original of which was built at Brighton in 1944 for the LNER. The Bulleid pacific is 34072 257 Squadron and that lovely L&Y 0-6-0t is a Horwich product.

Even more Southern, 34006 Bude is in the background, a 2EPB is in the bay platform while 31408 passes 34072.

Thanks Richard for a grand evening.

Looks great, what track and points are you using?

Thank you Phil,

The points are all hand-built to 31.5mm gauge using C&L and Exactoscale components. The straight track is either hand-built if it is part of the turnout construction or PECO. There are several posts earlier in the thread regarding the pointwork.

I suggest that a Google search on 'Microsoft edge can't find this page' will supply all the answers you need and should be your first port of call. I suspect that most of us can see the video without problems.

Using a fruit-based laptop the link is not visible - however if you click 'Reply' it appears in the post and you can click and go!

Hi,

We do still have running nights, even though nearly all our constructive time at the moment is spent on the outside line. We had one last night, and Heyside again became Heyside Regis.:)

No probs on my apple devices.

I have three systems on my desk top computer.

Internet Explorer gives a complete blank where the video should be

Microsoft Edge gives an error message 'Can't find this page'

Google Chrome shows the video normally

It may be worth installing Google Chrome if there is a problem.

Watched it on my iPad, wouldn’t go full screen, but I could zoom in. Very nice!

At risk of being a miserable pedant, I think I missed the tail lamp on the first train.

Best
