Hi Guys

I bumped into Richard Lambert at Telford last Saturday and he told me about this site of yours, so I hope you can put up with me from time to time. My main interest is the Western region circa 1953- 58, and at present I am building up my loco and rolling stock to hopefully run on what was a pipe dream but is slowly turning into the layout that I have been visualizing of for the last 20 odd years !! The layout will be DCC and the track work will be C&L, and hopefully by next year the first base board should be built. I look forward to reading all your posts especially as we all have something in common on this site, and hopefully I can be of help sometimes.

All the best, Martyn.

Welcome to the Forum!!
If you'd been by L10 the Test Track at about 1pm either day, you'd have bumped into quite a few of us (the youngest-looking bunch there, so I understand !!! :p  )

Telford was certainly up to it's usual standards and I think the guild should be congratulated on putting together such a good show, as for seeing the "youngest- looking bunch there" I possibly missed you all due to the sea of ruck sacks attacking me  . Right I must be off now as I have a day off work, and I can hear the soldering iron beckoning me ;) .

All the best, Martyn.
