Only just found this site, when reference was made to it on a site which seems to be somewhat static at the moment, however I digress.

I model in 00 (peco finescale) and my layout Wencombe is based on a proposed line , never built, linking the Torbay line to Kingsbridge by crossing the R. Dart at Dartmouth and then cross country to Kingsbridge. Wencombe is the passing station (with branch to Slapton). As Dartmouth was served by this line Kingswear was never rail connected. the idea therefore is to use a timetable based on the Torbay branch.

Oh by the way I live in east Norfolk mid way between Norwich and GT Yarmouth.

Good to be amongst GWR/WR modellers.

28ten, your right hence the route was never built, too much engineering, but it gives me an excuse to run 4-6-0s with a maximum of only 5 coaches (normally only 4)
