How to - link to a specific post in another thread?

Is there a quick trick that allows me to cross a link from a thread to a specific post in another thread?

Click on the post identity (hash one for your original post) in the bottom right hand corner and you get an URL for that post, use that URL as for any other link.

Or you can right click on the same hash number and select "Copy Link Location" on the menu that pops up and you get the URL of the message copied to the clipboard.
