Hudswell Clarke contract update 7/6/19

Western Thunderer
It's Friday afternoon again here at Crymlyn A Shop and the weather outside is so bad even the mounting sheep are taking shelter.
However work progresses on the Hudswell Clarke contract locomotive for the Llanelly & Mynydd Mawr Railway Company.
The boiler has finally been completed and fitted.
This heavy component has allowed the chassis springs to be adjusted to give the correct ride height.
The bell mount has been fitted and Dai Larfin, the A shop stores person, has taken the bell into stock for safe storage, let's hope he doesn't misplace this one!
On a happier note Dai has come up trumps with the chimney supplying two examples as well as a set of buffers!
This has confused our foreman who had to contact the Llanelly & Mynydd Mawr Railway Company's engineer to enquire as to which type to fit.
We are still waiting for the carrier pigeon to return.
Meanwhile the A Shop Boyos continue with their work...…
