A bit more progress on the Lizzie tender
Now bed beckons
Even that grubby, in my opinion, they looked better in red than in green.
It's quite nice how the fittings bring it to life
Is this photo of any use to you? Copyright unknown so please only use for reference.
It looks like Lime Street in the 1960s.
It looks vaguely familiar Jubilee and Lizzie tenders | Western Thunder
It's the same photo, but you may just see a bit more detail in the one that I've posted.
Is this any use to you?
Hi Ozzy thank you for the photos they are very helpful .I believe that the Princes Royal photo is at Carlisle
Hi Ozzy having just looked at photos of Lime st I think you may be right and may I say thank you for reading this thread
Hi I've put video on here before but haven't the faintest idea how I did it can someone please remind me
My first ever boiler roll
Considering the size that's looking very good.
Thanks Adrian I've never rolled a boiler and smoke box before they are separate etchings so I'm father pleased with myself these were scrap etches that Nigel Hunt sent me I did it with the two metal bars that are in the photo
I'd be more than happy with that result. Did you just roll it just on the cutting mat or use a foam underlay?
Hi Adrian I just rolled it on the cutting mat Nigel Hunt showed me how to do it last year I just hope the when I roll the ones off of the etch that it goes as well
Red Lizzy at Lime St.
