Hello all
I am Allen Morgan and live in north Worcestershire. These days modelling 1920s Colonel Stephens inspired light railway, The Wilden & Enville Light Railway. This is re-using the initials from my original Witts End Lt railway from the 1970s. I'm sure there will be some on here who "know" me by i.d. even if not in person.

Regards
Allen

Hi Allen,
Going down the list of new members I was dismayed to see that you didn't receive any welcome from the members here. I don't post very often here but we do like photographs of members work. The folk here are a helpful lot so any problems, just shout.

Welcome Allen,

Sorry to hear you slipped through the net regarding the welcome ceremony. Lots of photos and info are the order of the day.

All the best,

Martyn.

Thanks all
I am not surprised I went virtually unnoticed when you look at my joining date 28th Feb. The start of what has been described as the greatest world wide disruption since WW2.
No offence implied or taken. :) As to been offended I call myself hippopotamus, 'broad shouldered, thick skinned and don't run very often'. ;):D
Being a bit long in the tooth, 79 in a few weeks call me what you like EXCEPT not late for my meals.
I have made a few posts re SANKEY and will add in due time.

I did note, if not remark upon, your arrival on these shores. Welcome, sorry, it’s late!

Hippopotami are probably the second most dangerous mammals on the planet, after Homo sapiens.

They might not run often, but they can run (and swim) b####y fast, and they are reputed to have no sense of humour at all, and have a mouthful of the most effective incisors. I recall a chap talking about them, he was in a boat in mid river, and the hippo spotted them, and started to attack, from about half a mile away. The outboard wasn’t playing ball. “What happens if it won’t start?”, he asked. “We die”, was the simple reply...
