I can't wait, i'll be there saturday. You chaps might be able to help with this as the last time I went was about ten years ago........... I've missed the advance bookings so if I get there for about half nine will that get me near the front of the queue and get me in for ten. i'm only going for one day so i want as much time as pos to look around and spend all the pennies i'm aloud :laugh:

Hi all

Yes, really looking forward to Telford now. I shall mosey on along at about 9.00 both days. My wife will join me on the Sunday. I think she wants to meet you reprobates to see who I spend my time on-line with :scratch: :D

Phill - don't mention the garden railway - I'm under enough pressure as it is without having to go outside :laugh:

See you all at 1.00 L10 test track :wave:

I should be able to leave here at about 8ish to make it for just after nine. my back is still a bit rough so I want to park in the main car park so I can leave my stuff in the car and not have to lug it about all day :headbang:

I'm going to come along on Sunday and get some birthday ideas... (or even presents!) :cool: I'll probably bore lots of people with questions while I'm there. :oops:

An aside: since I'm a railfan, and Telford has a railway station, I thought I'd look at the options for coming by train.

If I want to arrive by 11am on Sunday, I have to leave home (not far from Coventry) at... wait for it... 22:15 on Saturday!

Fail, as they say.

Well a belated report of sorts from me after the "First Day"... can't believe I'm the first one to be posting here although for some luckier than I they are only halfway through the gig, of course... :oops: :headbang: :p

Nice to meet up with everyone at 1pm;
Phill (Onslaught), Ross, Mike (makhis), Richard (dikitriki), and the lads who's real names I've forgotten (I knew this would happen :oops: :headbang: ) Ressalder, Pugsley, D1054, Purple Haze - any more ??? ; and Graham Powell behind his layout. :thumbs: I reckon the false Fire Alarm was just a ploy to stop us all talking and get back to spending money... :scratch: :lol: :lol: :oops: of which I for one spent relatively little, this time :D .

Thanks to Ross & Phill for sharing the snap they couldn't finish gorging themselves :p I did manage to eat the dinner SWMBO had cooked for me as well !! :shock: ;)

I won't do a blow-by-blow account until after tomorrow, but it certainly remains my "must go" exhibition of the year.... :thumbs:

Hi all, hope everyone had a great day at the show today. Currently stuck in the hotel 5 mins from the Telford centre, so thought I would check in to see what's up.

Couldn't make the 1pm meet as expected, but managed to meet a few... Dikitriki, Dan Randall, Purple Haze and 7mm Mick, sorry if I missed anyone...

Looking forward to tomorrow as I managed to fit the long lost Zimo chip to the J39, so 'should' have 2 noisey engines on the stand tomorrow if all goes as planned!

Annoyingly, I have next to nothing on my want list, though I haven't had a wander round the show yet, anyone seen anything that might take my fancy? Any show specials??!

JB.
