LNER Teak Coach Details

I am completing a gauge 1 live steam LNER P2 "Cock O' The North" in it's original form and have started on a rake of Gresley teak coached to complete a "Flying Scotsman" set .
I am trying to find the sizes of the long pieces of wood that divide the panel horizontally and vertically on the sides and ends. Can anyone help please. I emigrated to Canada from Peterborough in 1980 so I cannot go and measure.
Thank you
Alan Wright

That loco is a thing of beauty, Alan.

The LNER is not particularly my thing so I can't assist directly. However, I've built some LNER parcels vehicles previously using Isinglass Drawings which will probably give you the info you need. This is the catalogue site: Catalogue

As far as I'm aware these drawings are for 7mm but I'd imagine could be scaled up appropriately. Whether drawings for the full Flying Scotsman set are available I've not checked.

Keep posting, though, with lots of photos. We'll be more than interested in your progress.

I used Isinglass as part of my research into the P2 and their drawings are very good but not very detailed as far as dimensions of details are concerned. But I will try and thank you.

Rob,
Thank you so much for that information. We are in Ottawa at present having come here to run on two local gauge one tracks on Saturday Sunday and Monday. We will be travelling home tomorrow and will review once I can work on the drawings.

I agree!! We had a wonderful week. Three days of running gauge one live steam on two different tracks in the Ottawa area and a visit to my granddads old steed "Dominion Of Canada" which is in the railway museum in Montreal. She looks beautiful and I am so pleased that she was saved from the Barry scrap yard by interested Canadian enthusiasts. It is wonderful to stand on the footplate where you know your dear Granddad stood. He would drive an A3 or A4 from our home Peterborough at 90 mph but you could not persuade him to get in the front passenger seat of a car and he would only get in the back under protest. He would rather take his bicycle or a bus.

Rob Thank you for the leads and drawing details. I have tried to find more of the same on the site but failed. Could you point out any other details posted by Nick Campling please.
Cheers
Alan
