LNWR 2-2-4T in 4mm

The lock down has made me get round to finishing locos I started some time ago. The etches on this are dated 2015 and I had built most of it.

Just needed to get it running smoothly and add detail.

There is a not very good video of the valve gear on Youtube

I have also found an A class that needs rebuilding, it has boiler damage from lead shot, and a F class to finish.

Mainly model in 7mm these days so this is a change.

These are the few I have left. Over the last years I sold them to fund my move to 0 gauge.
Looking back I had a model of Windermere station set pre WW1 and more recently Denroyd.
Both featured in Railway Modeller.
Most of my efforts these days centre around the Leeds MRS model of Plymouth Friary engine shed

Nick, I didn't realise you had switched to 7mm. Still all LNWR, or are you branching out? And this time is it scratch building for yourself or more kits?

All the 080s, Bill Bailey and 777 are still available through London Road Models as kits.
I have modelled 7mm LSWR on and off for the last forty years or so thanks to Graham Beaumont( Mr Jidenco)
giving me some parts many years ago.
No LNWR I'm afraid although I have thought of enlarging the etches and building an A class maybe.
I have done some etches in 7mm for a Beattie Well tank, C14 and Drewry 04.
However this is my current project in 7mmIMG_0375.JPG

Quite a challenge; Nilgiri Railway 0-8-2 rack loco 4 cylinder compound with separate drive to the pinions on the rack.
It may take some time

= 3-cylinder compound 0-8-0. There were many variations on the original 0-8-0 theme several of which I painted for Mr.Waterman, my final gauge 1 commission.
Hi Larry yes I'm a complete LNWR nut my response was one of hoping he might do the etches :)
