I have of late become interested in the railways of the capital. A spot of speculative googling brought me to this web page with a rather nice shunter picture at the bottom. Even better it has a link to further photos of the Docklands, in the form of a sample photo book, accessed by clicking on the arrows in the interactive bit of the page. Railways feature only peripherally but most of the locations would look good with rusty sidings if they are absent in the image.Bags of atmosphere, well worth a browse.

A couple of those books from Marshall would be great companions to these two - guess you are aware of them, Neil?
The lapse of time between these different sets of images could make for interesting comparison.

The partially submerged car at New Charlton is a modelling challenge!
