Looking for transfers........... G3 GNR van.

Having dug up a bit of mojo from somewhere, it is fast approaching the time when the G3 GNR van (from Mike Williams Models - of this parish), that has been hiding at the back of the work bench, is going to require application of company branding.

Having contacted Mike it appears that the transfers for the beast are no longer available - so, does anybody, out there in G3 land, have any 'spare' GNR van transfers (sufficient for a single van) that might be looking for a good home - could exchange for beer tokens.....

Will be at Reading on Saturday.

Or if anyone can point me in the direction of someone who produces 'bespoke' transfers...??

Over to you guys...........

Barry,

If you go down the route of having them made you would be welcome to use my AutoCAD drawing that was used for the batch I had made. To explain to others, the friend who made them for me originally doesn't want to make transfers any more. The artwork includes small and large letters for van and selection of open wagons.

Really it would be nice to find a firm who would add them to an existing range and make them available commercially.

Come to that, the artwork is also available if anyone wants GNR wagon transfers in another scale.

Another thought, this may be more attractive to Fox Transfers because it would fit with their existing range.

If the artwork is available I can laser print white lettering waterslide transfers easily and the cost will be reasonable, probably just the cost of the paper and postage. I can fill an A4 sheet if more than one copy is needed. I wouldn't want to step on any commercial producers toes but I do have the equipment set up in the office as I use the white toner for presentations etc in my architectural practice. PM me if you are interested.

Mike, Mike, Overseer, hold those thoughts - trying to sort 'stuff' out for the ALSRM jolly in Reading this Saturday (you are all going, aren't you.....?), so much to do..... anybody got a 25 hour day they want to pass on....?

Cheers, Guys.

Hope you have a successful day Barry and sorry we won't be seeing you there. I would be very interested Overseer in what equipment you have as the only printers I have found to print white are the very elderly Alps or a new one which came out 18 months ago and was somewhat expensive for home use.

It is a standard HP colour laser printer with a white toner cartridge from Weiß drucken mit Ghost White Toner • Ghost Webshop.

Thanks to the generosity and kindness of Overseer I will shortly be able to supply LanyTank, and a couple of others if needed, with the transfers required. What a great place this WT is and what a great bunch of chaps we have on it. Thanks all, and especially thanks Overseer.

I would like to put on record my thanks to, both, Mike W & Fraser (Overseer) - due to their efforts my initial OP has been (very nearly) satisfied - Mike W supplied the file & Overseer provided the hardware & effort.

Gentlemen - Thank you.
