Narrow minded

As if creating layouts in HO and OO wasn't enough, I'm tentatively opening up a narrow gauge project. This September's holiday was spent in the utterly bewitching French town of Collioure.

It's on the Med very close to the border with Spain and as far as I'm concerned could only be improved by the addition of a narrow gauge railway connecting harbour to station and on into the hinterland, which is where I come in. At the Welshpool model railway exhibition this October I managed to pick up a pair of Jouef HOe toastrack coaches at a very advantageous price. One will just suffer a repaint but its partner is having a compartment fabricated for the chef de train. As pictures are supposed to be worth a thousand words I'll let the camera do the talking.
