I keep seeing my name mentioned here so I better introduce myself. I am Mike Osborne from Stockport. S7 for the last 20 years fine scale before that. I model the pre-grouping in the 1890's and mostly scratch build.
I have been posting on R.M since April last year. Not sure how to post photographs on here.

Welcome Mike, I look forward to seeing your new pieces on here.

To load a photo press Upload a File then navigate and select the file. It will start to laod and toy then will be offered the choice of Thumbnail or Full Image. Select Fill Image and it will appear in thw post that you are working on. Keep the image size as small as possible as it will load quicker. Best size is something like 1500 pixcel wide. I am sure one of the flying squad will remind us of the optimum size.

Good day Mike,

Welcome to this forum... often known as "over here" to differentiate from RMWeb which is generally known as RMWeb or "over there". If you find that slightly confusing then just wait until Jordan (@Jordan) arrives when all shall be completely confused.

Heather (@Heather Kay) often pops up in member's welcome posts to mention that the WT currency is photos, you are going to have no problem with that comment given the number and quality of your posts "over there".

best wishes, Graham

@Dog Star is quite correct.

Nice to see you here, Mike! Looking forward to seeing more if your splendid models once you've worked out how to upload the piccies!

I lurk on RMW, but I find it a very overwhelming kind of place. Western Thunder hits me better.

I have only recently started posting on here Mike, and have found that an RMWeb post (I use Tinypic for image hosting) will copy paste directly with pictures onto WT. Context may need changing for a different audience of course.

Hi Mike,

welcome to WT, pictures look great, but next time could you please post them as 'full size' rather than thumbnails.

"No doubt somebody will notice the mistake on the N.S.R brakevan."

Welcome Mike, and in an Alan Davis moment (QI) am I stating the obvious when saying in early times Brake was spelt Break??!! Nice touch and great to see pre-grouping models.
