Comedy tracklaying... 5 (possession overrun judging by the Blue diseasels waiting for the road)
Comedy soldering... 4 (apparently not enough soldering irons last Saturday)
Comedy cooking... 9 (who else has Mr & Mrs Gingerbread as part of the construction gang?)

The 26 is a Heljan with a front end respray and the cab windows filled in.
The first tank wagon in shell livery is a prmrp kit built one that I acquired from Ebay.
The second tank wagon in Esso livery is one I built froma JLTRT kit.
The 26 has a SWD class 25 sound chip in it.

Well, nearly 3 years since an update.
I think I have been officially given the job of PR man. Famous last words, but I shall try and keep this thread a little more up to date if I can.
Well in the last few years the rear fiddle yard has been more than successfully completed as you will probably have seen on Heathers thread from the running day a couple of weekends back.
Currently the team are working on the centre section fiddle yard, as there just isn't enough space to store stock on the existing parts of the layout. I shall let the pictures do the talking, but do take note of Richard Carr's beautiful bisected point work. Pretty swift progress with it too really, baring in mind we only do about 3 hours on an evening each week.
There's a little jiggery pokery required to get complex point work clear of board joins, but once that's done, a couple of evenings laying straight track, and it's on to wiring and commissioning.. All very exciting.
Once this is done we can start to make things look a little prettier and crack on with some scenery. I think Richard is chomping at the bit to get started on some signalling too!

Hi chaps, same answer to both questions. This is purely a fiddle yard, so very little if any cosmetic work will be done, so no ballast and no further sleepers added.
I must admit once the fiddle yards are done and dusted I think it would be nice to spray the whole lot a light grey, but that's down to the boss(es)..

All in hand I think Jordan. Richard has a decent amount of stock, and I'm slowly building up freight trains.
Crosscombe is generally a holiday haunts anything goes type of layout though Richard has the blue diesels, and we both have stock for mid-late 60's running sessions too. My engines are slowly going from 1946 livery to BR. Don't forget that John Birch will have australian trains running too. Should be a lovely thing once it's running themed days..
